What you'll do

Design and develop Java/J2EE based web applications for Risk and Finance dashboards.
Develop high-performance multi-threaded applications using Core Java, Spring, and Web Services.
Build web front-end components using JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, and AngularJS.
Design and implement architectural solutions for complex design issues and code improvements.
Integrate data using Spark, Kafka, and the Cloudera Ecosystem (Hadoop, HDFS, Hive).
Critically evaluate current processing workflows to recommend and implement process efficiencies.
Guide junior team members and provide technical leadership within an agile environment.
Collaborate with technology partners to ensure development meets specific business requirements.

What we're looking for

6-10 years of software development experience in Java.
6+ years of experience implementing enterprise-level Java development projects.
Expert-level skills in Core Java, Spring, Web Services, and J2EE.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, JSON, and AngularJS.
Experience with Spark, Kafka, and the Cloudera Ecosystem (Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Impala).
Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, databases, and operating systems.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Master’s degree (preferred).
