What you'll do

Design and build robust Java-based applications and RESTful APIs meeting enterprise performance standards.
Lead technical analysis of complex business processes to create scalable software solutions and architecture improvements.
Define and enforce development standards for coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
Align application designs with the broader corporate architecture blueprint and infrastructure requirements.
Mentor and coach mid-level developers while providing technical direction and distributing team workload.
Evaluate technical risks to ensure all solutions are compliant, secure, and meet industry standards.

What we're looking for

Hands-on Java development expertise, including building and consuming RESTful APIs using Spring or comparable frameworks.
Practical experience with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, SQL, and MongoDB.
Cloud platform experience using OpenShift and Kubernetes, with working knowledge of build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
Experience with messaging systems including Apache Kafka and IBM MQ for event-driven application architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling, including Jenkins and Grafana.
Solid grasp of software development lifecycle principles and Agile delivery practices.
6+ years of experience in applications development or systems analysis (preferred).
Master's degree in a relevant technical field (preferred).
