What you'll do

Design and develop scalable software applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot Microservices, and Hibernate.
Build full-stack solutions by developing frontend interfaces with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Produce system architecture artefacts including diagrams, flowcharts, and sequence diagrams to guide development.
Manage the full software development lifecycle from feasibility assessment through to post-go-live support.
Embed security best practices into application designs and conduct post-implementation functional analysis.
Implement and maintain automated test coverage using frameworks like JUnit, Cucumber, and Playwright.
Provide technical guidance to senior stakeholders and define engineering standards and processes.
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers to support their technical development.

What we're looking for

5 or more years of hands-on experience in software application development or systems design.
Deep expertise in Java 17+, Spring, Spring Boot Microservices, and Hibernate.
Strong command of Oracle PL/SQL for database development.
Demonstrated ability to produce software design artefacts including architecture documentation, flowcharts, and UML-style diagrams.
Practical experience managing projects using Agile methodologies and JIRA.
Strong proficiency in source control practices using Git.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
Working knowledge of Angular 16+ (preferred).
