As a Senior IT Security Specialist, you will join the information technology team to provide security engineering, systems integration, and technical support services. You will develop and implement security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to protect enterprise systems, networks, applications, email, and data from internal and external attacks. Your daily responsibilities include deploying, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting cybersecurity products such as firewalls, endpoint detection and response, intrusion prevention, SIEM, vulnerability management, and identity and access management technologies. You will also manage network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and operating systems while administering security policies to ensure data integrity and availability. The role requires expertise in disaster recovery, incident response, and network architecture. You will apply computer science technologies to design and support secure networks while managing the full lifecycle of enterprise products and security programs.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to prevent internal and external attacks against enterprise systems.
  • Deploy, configure, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize cybersecurity products like firewalls and endpoint detection systems.
  • Manage security technologies including intrusion prevention, vulnerability management, email security, and identity and access management.
  • Install, configure, and support network infrastructure, servers, workstations, operating systems, and related hardware/software.
  • Administer security policies to control physical and virtual access while ensuring system confidentiality and integrity.
  • Analyze security alerts, diagnose technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage disaster recovery, continuity-of-operations planning, and security incident response methodologies.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A Master's degree plus 6 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Ability to develop, test, debug, and administer enterprise products that support security protocols for established systems.
  • Ability to apply computer science technologies to the design, development, evaluation, integration, and support of secure networks.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise cybersecurity products.
  • Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting network devices, servers, workstations, operating systems, and related hardware/software.
  • Ability to analyze security alerts, diagnose technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong knowledge of disaster recovery, incident response, cyber threats, and network architecture is required.
