Senior Inventory Specialist/Logistician TS/SCI Poly joins the Cyber & Analytics Business Area to support a complex program within the Scaled Agile Framework. This role involves managing hardware, software, and service procurements across geographically distributed nodes in a multifaceted network environment. The specialist manages the full procurement lifecycle, including tracking warranties, monitoring ticket queues, updating Bills of Material, and coordinating with engineers and planners to streamline material acquisition. Key responsibilities include maintaining inventory databases, researching technical configurations based on engineering specifications, and creating RMAs using serial numbers and government barcodes. Required skills include proficiency in Excel formulas, experience with software licensing models, and knowledge of logistics concepts regarding manufacturers and vendors. Manage the full procurement lifecycle for hardware assets and software licenses from requisition to delivery.
Track hardware warranties and software maintenance periods to prevent lapses in coverage or support.
Monitor multiple ticket queues and respond to requests within established timelines.
Update Bills of Material (BOMs) and coordinate with program teams to streamline material procurement.
Track material movement through the procurement process and resolve issues affecting progress.
Coordinate with buyers and planners to prioritize urgent requests and ensure timely delivery.
Maintain hardware inventory reports and databases for a complex, multi-node network environment.
Research parts and technical configurations based on specific engineering requirements.
What we're looking for
Must have a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
At least 12 years of experience in Logistics, Quality Control, Data Management, or Hardware/Software Management.
At least 8 years of experience managing IT hardware and software.
At least 5 years of experience handling purchase requisitions.
At least 3 years of experience with Bills of Material (BOMs).
Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets including formulas.
Experience with hardware/software warranties, licensing models, and RMAs; experience in Agile environments or as a Quality Control Specialist (preferred).
