Senior Hardware Engineering Program Manager

What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for large-scale, high-risk hardware products from concept to customer release.
• Orchestrate multi-functional activities across hardware, software engineering, product management, and operations teams.
• Monitor program health by managing critical path roadmaps, risk mitigation, and necessary course corrections.
• Manage all aspects of budget preparation, resource allocation, and financial rigor to align with business plans.
• Provide executive-level status updates and strategic recommendations to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to engineering project management staff to improve processes.
• Utilize project management tools and AI-enabled methodologies to track metrics and optimize program efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8+ years of experience, or a master's in engineering with 6+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience leading end-to-end, complex hardware programs involving multiple PCBAs and multi-functional interdependencies.
• Experience defining and delivering program plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring critical path activities and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project to track program metrics.
• Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude to improve the program management process (preferred).
• Expertise in Design Verification Testing (DVT) processes within complex hardware development lifecycles (preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of hardware manufacturing environments, production workflows, and supply chain operations (preferred).
• Strategic background in supply chain operations or procurement for large-scale hardware programs (preferred).
