Hardware Engineering Manager
As part of the Equipment Intelligence and Sensor Engineering organization within the Deposition Product Group, you will lead a team focused on the mechanical architecture, integration, and deployment of advanced sensor systems into semiconductor capital equipment. You will manage the design of complex opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies while collaborating with electrical and firmware teams to ensure robust system-level performance. Your daily responsibilities include defining modular sensing platforms, overseeing CAD layouts and tolerance analyses, and driving DFx for production readiness. The role requires expertise in mechanical engineering, optical systems, and sensor integration to solve challenges in real-time visibility and process control. You will navigate a matrix structure to align cross-functional teams on hardware-firmware co-design, ensuring that sensing modules meet stringent reliability, thermal, and structural requirements while advancing the evolution of intelligent, sensor-rich equipment across the product portfolio.
