Senior Hardware Applications Engineer

What you'll do

• Create product specifications, hardware design guides, and application notes to support customer designs.
• Review customer designs for architecture, thermal, mechanical, schematic, layout, and signal integrity.
• Provide technical support to enterprise customers by analyzing data to resolve errors and system issues.
• Perform hardware debugging using oscilloscopes and analyzers to qualify and validate products.
• Develop platform configuration guides for x86 and ARM servers based on HPC and AI workloads.
• Resolve system integration issues involving thermal, mechanical, electrical, PCIe, and GPU interconnects.
• Track, file, and reproduce bugs as needed during the product validation process.

What we're looking for

• BS or higher in EE, CE, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise datacenter products for x86 or ARM architecture.
• Experience using Cadence Allegro Schematic Design Entry and Allegro PCB Layout tools.
• Proficiency with lab tools including oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of power integrity concepts, signal integrity principles, and high-speed board design methodologies.
• Understanding of x86 and ARM system architecture for server design, including BMC, security, and out-of-band management.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver technical collateral and support enterprise systems.
• Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to various audiences.
