Hardware Engineering Manager

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of electrical and mechanical hardware engineers.
• Manage the design, development, validation, and lifecycle management of electro-mechanical products.
• Drive technical excellence and ensure compliance with industry standards for all hardware solutions.
• Oversee the execution of complex technical programs from feasibility and prototyping through to manufacturing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure seamless product integration.
• Gather customer insights to align hardware architecture frameworks with user needs during new product development.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the engineering department.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline such as Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of industry experience in the development of electro-mechanical equipment.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position managing engineering teams and complex technical programs.
• Proficiency with engineering tools including SolidWorks, CAD platforms, simulation tools, and test measurement systems.
• Strong knowledge of hardware product development cycles including feasibility, prototyping, validation, and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as ISO and FDA.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15% and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
