What you'll do

Lead the design and implementation of spacecraft GNC hardware and software subsystems across various orbital regimes.
Develop software-defined approaches for autonomous spacecraft operations and maneuvering capabilities.
Design flight software, control algorithms, and simulation products for diverse space missions.
Create and execute test plans to validate GNC systems during ground checkout and on-orbit operations.
Provide hardware-in-the-loop and Monte Carlo simulation capabilities for system analysis and validation.
Develop automated fault detection and response protocols for spacecraft systems.
Build tools for autonomous maneuvers in dynamic space environments, including rendezvous and docking.
Manage the integration and testing of GNC subsystems with bus providers and internal teams.

What we're looking for

Must have an engineering degree in fields such as Astrodynamics, Aerospace Engineering, Dynamics and Controls, or Computer Science.
Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++, Go, and/or Linux Systems is required.
Experience conducting spacecraft operations and satellite command and control with a focus on system reliability.
Knowledge of orbital mechanics, space object tracking, and spacecraft attitude determination and controls.
Ability to develop 3-DOF simplified and 6-DOF high-fidelity dynamics simulation models for GNC systems.
Familiarity with rendezvous proximity operations (RPOD) and docking.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
