What you'll do

Develop reliable GNC algorithms, flight software, and simulation tools using C++ or Python.
Conduct technical analyses to recommend designs that balance competing system requirements.
Build software tools and construct scenarios to analyze overall system performance.
Create high-quality technical documentation for programs, algorithms, and engineering analyses.
Develop software models to simulate the operation and performance of various payloads.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure ground and vehicle software operates at peak performance.
Drive future hardware design and optimize current payload performance through modeling and simulation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, software engineering, or another engineering discipline.
Experience in software development using C++ or Python.
Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or other specific legal status required for ITAR compliance.
Master's degree or PhD in physics or an engineering discipline is preferred.
Experience verifying GNC algorithm performance through simulation and model validation.
Demonstrated experience in state estimation algorithms, optimization, or RF.
Experience with Linux development and high-quality technical documentation.
