What you'll do

Develop reliable GNC algorithms, flight software, and simulations using C++ or Python.
Conduct analyses and write software that balances competing system requirements.

Write high-quality technical documentation for programs, algorithms, and analyses.
Develop software models of the operation and performance of various payloads.
Support on-call operations rotations to maintain ground and vehicle software performance.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science/software engineering, or an engineering discipline.
Software development experience in C++ or Python.
Master's degree or PhD in physics or an engineering discipline (preferred).
Experience in verifying GNC algorithm performance via simulation and validation of the simulation's models (preferred).
Experience simulating satellite payload performance (preferred).
Demonstrated experience in developing state estimation algorithms or optimization (preferred).
Experience with RF, Linux development, and excellent communication skills (preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
