What you'll do

Develop and extend firmware for sensor boards, motor controllers, and power management hardware.
Build new features on top of existing firmware baselayers without causing regressions.
Harden firmware security through authenticated updates and protection against physical attackers.
Manage the firmware update path to ensure safe deployment for units already in the field.
Define and maintain the interface boundaries between firmware and higher-level software services.
Collaborate with hardware engineers on board bring-up and debugging from power-on to production.

What we're looking for

4+ years experience in firmware development using C.
Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures such as ARM or RISC-V.
Proficiency in low-level networking protocols including TCP/IP, CAN, SPI, and I2C.
Experience with RTOS and bare-metal programming.
Familiarity with debugging tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Solid understanding of computer architecture and memory management.
US person status required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
Experience with kernel development, device drivers, cryptography, or secure boot (preferred); degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
