What you'll do

Develop low-level firmware and reusable device drivers for microcontrollers across land, sea, and air systems.
Design and implement high-performance, resource-constrained firmware solutions using direct register manipulation.
Own complex firmware features of embedded systems while managing multiple projects at various stages.
Debug and troubleshoot issues spanning the electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
Select microcontrollers and peripherals and review schematics in coordination with the electrical engineering team.
Integrate system-level features and architect changes to support an expanding codebase.

What we're looking for

BS or MS in CS, CE, EE, or equivalent industry experience.
5+ years of experience in firmware/embedded software development for embedded systems.
Strong C coding ability specifically for embedded systems.
Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
Experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments.
Proficiency debugging with JTAG, SWD, Oscilloscopes, and Logic analyzers.
Practical experience with direct register manipulation and low-level hardware access to control microcontroller peripherals.
Must be a U.S. Person due to export controlled information requirements.
