The Senior Epic Configuration Analyst will join the team to support Utilization Management and Long-Term Services and Support. This role involves configuring and maintaining Epic workflows, including UM letters, work queues, and routing rules. The analyst will translate business and clinical requirements into configuration specifications, facilitate design sessions, and manage change requests to ensure scalable, standardized solutions. Configure and maintain Epic workflows including UM letters, work queues, and routing rules.
Translate business and clinical requirements into technical configuration specifications.
Develop and execute testing systems to support end-to-end validation activities.
Support UAT execution, defect resolution, and business approval processes.
Coordinate configuration, testing, defect management, and release activities with project teams.
Support go-live readiness, cutover planning, and operational deployment activities.
Identify root causes and recommend configuration improvements to enhance adoption and reduce rework.
Maintain configuration documentation, testing evidence, and decision records.
What we're looking for
Must obtain Epic certification within 60 days of completing training.
Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, Medicare, or Medicaid environments.
1 or more years of experience supporting Utilization Management workflows.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Experience analyzing data and applying insights to drive informed decision-making.
Ability to travel up to 25% annually, including 3-5 trips to Wisconsin within the first 60 days.
Must have a home internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
Epic Tapestry Medical Management Certification; and/or Epic Healthy Planet Fundamentals for Health Plans Certification or Healthy Planet Link (preferred).
