The Senior Enterprise Architect joins the Enterprise Architecture team to oversee the development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This strategic role involves translating business drivers into architectural requirements, designing next-generation architectures across data and technology domains, and developing IT roadmaps to optimize total cost of ownership. The architect will manage vendor relationships, conduct risk and ROI analyses, and ensure compliance with regulations like HIPAA and GDPR. Key technical competencies include experience with the web technology stack, including RESTful APIs and JavaScript; cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure; data modeling; and integration concepts like ETL and EAI. Familiarity with SAP technologies, TOGAF frameworks, and large-scale transformations in areas like eCommerce and warehouse management is highly valued to solve complex business problems through innovative technology solutions.
Translate business drivers into enterprise architecture requirements and align technology strategy with financial planning goals.
Design next-generation architectures across business, application, data, and technology domains to improve agility and reduce costs.
Develop IT strategies, reference architectures, and enforce standards, patterns, and governance across the organization.
Build extensible solution architectures and ensure adherence during implementation across infrastructure and security teams.
Monitor emerging technologies and provide thought leadership on innovative approaches for adoption.
Evaluate solutions based on risk, ROI, schedule, and budget to influence future-state architecture decisions.
Manage vendor relationships by participating in RFPs, evaluating pricing models, and assessing software renewal strategies.
Create training materials and technical position papers to promote enterprise architecture processes and outcomes.
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
4-8 years of experience is required for this role.
Experience building and delivering large-scale business or technology transformations in areas like eCommerce, ERP, and Warehouse Management is preferred.
Proficiency with the web technology stack including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs is required.
Experience in all aspects of cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure is required.
Knowledge of data modeling, database construction, and integration concepts such as EAI, ETL, ELT, EII, and B2B is required.
Understanding of security legislation including HIPAA, GDPR, Sarbanes-Oxley, and PCI regulations is required.
Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman is required.
