Senior Engineering Program Manager, AI/ML

What you'll do

• Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale Machine Learning and Generative AI programs within Apple Media Products.
• Translate high-level product visions into detailed engineering roadmaps and actionable technical execution plans.
• Orchestrate efforts across specialized engineering teams to track progress against technical milestones and manage launches.
• Identify and mitigate technical blockers such as data quality issues, compute resource contention, and model scalability.
• Facilitate technical scoping, effort estimation, and resource allocation discussions with engineering and research teams.
• Communicate complex engineering progress, technical trade-offs, and risk mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
• Optimize feature development processes and manage the feature intake pipeline with cross-functional partners.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of program management experience, including experience taking features through the complete software development and ML life cycle.
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end Machine Learning projects, including data acquisition, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field or relevant industry experience.
• Experience executing cross-functional and cross-organization project management across diverse teams (preferred).
• Ability to extract action plans from complex technical discussions and translate them into succinct messaging for executive reporting (preferred).
• Experience building global products by collaborating across Product, Engineering, Data Sciences, Analytics, and Design (preferred).
• Consistent track record of shipping complex customer-facing and backend engineering projects under demanding timelines (preferred).
• Best-in-class communication and presentation skills to all levels of an organization (preferred).
