Senior Engineering Program Manager, AI/ML

What you'll do

• Drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale Machine Learning and Generative AI programs within Apple Media Products.
• Translate high-level product visions into detailed engineering roadmaps, technical execution plans, and manageable project phases.
• Manage technical scoping, effort estimation, and resource allocation across engineering, research, and cross-functional teams.
• Orchestrate execution across specialized teams including ML, Data, Platform, and SRE to meet technical milestones.
• Identify and mitigate technical blockers such as data quality issues, compute resource contention, and model scalability.
• Facilitate technical decision-making and communicate complex trade-offs to stakeholders in Product, Research, Legal, and Leadership.
• Manage the feature intake pipeline and develop strategies to optimize development processes within the organization.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of program management experience including features through the complete software development and ML life cycle.
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end Machine Learning projects from data acquisition to deployment and monitoring.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field or relevant industry experience.
• Experience executing cross-functional and cross-organization project management across diverse teams (preferred).
• Ability to translate complex technical discussions into succinct messaging for multi-functional and executive reporting (preferred).
• Track record of shipping complex customer-facing and backend engineering projects under demanding timelines (preferred).
• Strong facilitation skills for requirements sessions, design meetings, and status updates (preferred).
• Best-in-class written and verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of an organization (preferred).
