Senior Engineering Lead, Treasury

What you'll do

• Own the engineering of money movement, liquidity, cash, and asset management systems.
• Manage core services including Order Management, Market Connector, Liquidity Planner, and funding workflows.
• Develop real-time views of global liquidity to ensure customer transfers are never delayed.
• Design monitoring systems to optimize financial resource management and operational efficiency.
• Engineer control mechanisms to manage liquidity utilization and high-value transaction processing.
• Build automated tools for investing surplus cash while adhering to risk and regulatory parameters.
• Collaborate with data scientists to develop machine learning models for forecasting cash flows.
• Lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience designing, building, and operating complex, scalable, and reliable distributed and event-driven systems in production environments.
• Experience working in high-stakes domains such as treasury, payments, or finance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering leads and engineers across diverse domains and all levels.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize impactful work.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading an engineering team in a treasury or fintech domain (preferred).
• Experience building and scaling event-driven systems with real-time aggregation frameworks (preferred).
• Previous experience scaling both teams and systems to support rapid business growth (preferred).
