What you'll do

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications within the Accounting technology landscape using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
Build and enhance APIs, microservices, and distributed data processing solutions using Spark and Hadoop.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define requirements and contribute to solution architecture.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes to improve system stability.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines while deploying applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of operational efficiency.
Share technical knowledge and conduct code reviews to help unblock team members and foster success.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience with strong software engineering fundamentals.
Extensive hands-on experience building enterprise applications, APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, ReactJS, and SQL.
Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, container platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with big data technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, and BigQuery, plus databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning capabilities within Agile software development environments.
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to optimize workflows while ensuring responsible and ethical use of data.
Accounting, Finance, or Banking technology experience (preferred).
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), event-driven architectures, and supporting business-critical production applications (preferred).
