As a Senior Engineer II – Mechanical Design, you will join the engineering team to manage the design, development, and qualification of new programs while ensuring compliance with customer requirements. You will lead cross-functional teams of engineers, draftsmen, and scientists to deliver robust, manufacturable fluid-system products. Your daily responsibilities include generating mechanical designs for pressure-containing components, manifolds, and housings, while driving VAVE initiatives and troubleshooting technical issues with customers and suppliers. The role requires expertise in mechanical design principles, material selection, fluid routing, and manufacturing processes. You will utilize knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and international drawing standards like BS8888 or ANSI Y14.5 to solve complex engineering problems in the aerospace and industrial sectors. Candidates must possess a relevant engineering degree and extensive experience with aerospace hardware and high-performance fluid systems.
