Senior Electrical Sustainment Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage product sustainment in production through engineering improvements, cost reduction, and sourcing support.
• Own design updates for embedded electronics including hardware selection, schematics, PCB updates, and board bring-up.
• Execute system-level integration and validation of electronic components.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and debugging tools.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to implement feature requests and address component obsolescence.
• Manage long lead and end-of-life components to ensure continuous production cycles.
• Support new product introductions and maintain hardware currently in active deployment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience designing, testing, troubleshooting, and sustaining complex embedded systems and products.
• Experience with 8- and 32-bit Microcontrollers, Linux-based SOCs, Ethernet, common communication busses (SPI, I2C), and power regulation.
• Competence with test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation tools.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of embedded software development, including timers, interrupts, and hardware peripherals (preferred).
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and version control tools like git or GitHub (preferred).
