Senior Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage the full lifecycle of complex hardware systems from initial concept through design, build, integration, and testing.
• Develop robust design solutions that meet stringent Navy requirements for electronic systems.
• Design cable assemblies and wire harnesses in compliance with MIL-SPEC and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Perform analog and digital circuit designs including component selection and schematic entry.
• Execute PCB design phases including SPICE analysis, power analysis, and signal integrity optimization.
• Utilize lab equipment such as signal generators, high-speed oscilloscopes, and digital logic analyzers for testing.
• Write technical papers and proposals to communicate project requirements and progress.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation within engineering processes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
• Experience with the engineering development life cycle, including concept, requirements, design, implementation, and test phases (preferred).
• Experience designing cable assemblies and wire harnesses in compliance with MIL-SPEC and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards (preferred).
• Proficiency in PCB design, analog and digital circuit design, and experience with lab equipment (preferred).
• Experience with firmware, microcontrollers, or VHDL/Verilog (preferred).
