As a Senior Electrical Engineer at GD Mission Systems, you will join a cross-functional team to oversee the full lifecycle of complex hardware systems for naval applications. What you'll do

Design cable assemblies and wire harnesses for complex electronic systems in compliance with MIL-SPEC standards.

Optimize placement, signal integrity, and fitment of components with the layout team.
Lead the detailed design, build, integration, and test phases of hardware systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
Experience with full engineering development lifecycle phases.
Proficiency in designing cable assemblies and wire harnesses per MIL-SPEC standards.
Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, including PCB layout optimization.
Strong documentation and communication skills for technical papers and proposals.
Collaborative leadership experience on complex projects preferred.
