What you'll do

Lead systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, functional analysis, system design, and trade studies for D5LE2 subsystems.
Drive MBSE and digital engineering strategies by maintaining system architectures and models using Cameo/MagicDraw and DOORS.
Resolve complex system design weaknesses and serve as a technical decision-maker for engineering trade-offs.
Perform technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability evaluations for program elements.
Manage the allocation of system requirements to lower-level components and lead customer requirement negotiations.
Evaluate vendor products, COTS, and specifications to determine feasibility and inform architectural design decisions.
Ensure designs meet government security specifications and lead system accreditation and certification efforts.
Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to junior engineers to build team capability.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field with 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
Proficiency in MBSE tools and methodologies, specifically Cameo/MagicDraw and DOORS.
Strong background in software development or computing architecture.
Experience leading systems engineering activities across the full development life cycle on major defense programs.
Understanding of program management principles including Earned Value, CAM, SPI, and CPI.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical teams in a complex environment.
