What you'll do

Design and develop DSP algorithms for phased array antenna systems including beamforming, steering, and adaptive processing.
Develop and validate signal processing chains in MATLAB and Simulink using fixed-point modeling and bit-true simulations.
Implement and optimize FFT/iFFT architectures for OFDM waveforms, channelization, and frequency-domain beamforming.
Create calibration algorithms for phased array systems to address amplitude/phase correction and mutual coupling compensation.
Model and simulate RF impairments like I/Q imbalance and phase noise to develop DSP-based mitigation techniques.
Translate DSP algorithms from MATLAB/Simulink models into synthesizable HDL for FPGA implementation.
Perform trade studies on algorithm complexity, latency, throughput, and resource utilization.
Design and support test campaigns for the development and qualification of space hardware.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in hardware development across the full product life cycle.
7+ years of electrical engineering experience in Space, Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, or Communications fields.
7+ years of experience with DSP algorithm development and hardware test system debugging.
Ability to translate DSP algorithms from MATLAB/Simulink models into synthesizable HDL (VHDL/Verilog).
Experience designing phased array communication systems including beamforming, calibration, and compensation.
Must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a TS/SCI security clearance.
Experience working with government agencies and delivering technical reports for design reviews.
