Senior Director, Solutions Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead executive-level engagements and manage the response strategy for RFIs, RFPs, and unsolicited proposals.
• Drive technical and programmatic opportunities during the initial shaping, capture, and design stages of strategic growth.
• Manage multi-business line collaborations to identify new use cases and markets for existing and emerging products.
• Oversee detailed system designs including requirements development, trade studies, risk management, and cost optimization.
• Lead cross-functional teams of internal and external experts to achieve technical and programmatic goals.
• Conduct trade analyses to explore early conceptual designs and address gaps in defense capabilities.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure prototypes are scalable for full-rate production.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and manage adequate resource plans for project scopes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering and growth support.
• Proven leadership in commercial or DoD Capture and Sales to shape capabilities from concept through funded prototyping.
• Familiarity with the full product lifecycle from concept and prototyping through fielding and sustainment.
• Knowledge of DoD, IC, and Commercial programs, including enabling technologies, systems integration, and software development.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for briefing 3-star+ customer stakeholders and C-suite internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high emotional intelligence and ownership.
• Must currently possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
