The Senior Director, Business Development, Air Defense joins the Air Defense team to develop, test, deploy, and sustain a family of networked sensors and effectors designed to counter UAS threats. This role involves building and executing data-driven strategies to capture growth in new and existing markets while managing large programs of record. The individual will cultivate relationships with U.S. Army air and missile defense program office stakeholders, collaborate with engineering and operations leads to translate client challenges into technical solutions, and coordinate across multiple business lines for contracting and funding strategies. Key requirements include extensive experience in the Defense Acquisition Process, expertise in joint military operations, and proficiency in managing complex integrated weapons systems. What we're looking for
Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, acquisition, program management, business development, or capture within the defense sector.
Experience working with Program Acquisition Executive Offices, Joint Programs of Record, and other government stakeholders to field warfighting capabilities.
Proven success leading the acquisition, management, development, and capture of defense programs of record.
Experience addressing technical, programmatic, and operational challenges in developing and sustaining complex technologies and integrated weapons systems.
Ability to identify and leverage relationships with senior officials within the Department of Defense and U.S. government.
Proficiency navigating the Defense Acquisition Process.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage organizational resources.
Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred).
