What you'll do

Design, deploy, and manage high-performance database clusters including BigTable, Oracle, MySQL, and Cloud SQL.
Architect multi-cloud database solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.
Build Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Packer.
Optimize databases through indexing, partitioning, tuning, and query improvements.
Automate schema deployment and management using GitOps and CI/CD workflows.
Lead incident response while implementing self-healing and failover strategies.
Develop observability and alerting systems using Grafana, Datadog, and Prometheus.
Create Python-based automation and AI-driven optimization tools for database operations.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in BigTable, Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, BigQuery, and Kubernetes is required.
Expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and GitOps automation frameworks is required.
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL are required, with familiarity in Bash, Java, or Scala.
Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure environments is required.
Linux system administration and distributed systems troubleshooting skills are required.
Deep understanding of observability tools like Grafana, Datadog, and ELK is required.
Experience with specific databases such as Aurora MySQL, DynamoDB, Cassandra, or Redis is preferred.
AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent AWS certification is preferred.
