What you'll do

Deliver complete software solutions across all phases of the SDLC including design, implementation, testing, and operations.
Advise management on project-level issues and make technical decisions based on industry best practices.
Guide and mentor junior engineers by sharing software development processes and standards.
Oversee projects to ensure the delivery of accurate, complete, and operable solutions.
Collaborate with product managers to understand and refine technical requirements.
Serve as a technical expert to resolve inquiries from other employees.
Own the performance and availability of services and participate in on-call rotations.
Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform to support global-scale services.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in computer science, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with Python or an equivalent high-level programming language.
Advanced skills with RDBMS, NoSQL data stores, caching solutions, and messaging/queuing protocols like SQS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
Experience operating distributed applications 24x7x365 and designing infrastructure for global-scale services.
Hands-on experience with AWS IaaS and PaaS solutions, including Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Experience with database operations including DynamoDB, DocumentDB, Cassandra, MySQL, Aurora, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
AWS Solutions Architect certification (preferred).
