Senior Data Center Support Services Technician

What you'll do

• Install, maintain, and optimize server and network hardware following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents affecting facility or IT operations efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair servers and networking equipment using industry standards.
• Manage inventory and logistics to ensure accurate record-keeping of assets.
• Participate in 24/7 shift rotations for continuous data center operations support.
• Plan and commission new rack equipment, assisting with white space design.

What we're looking for

• Successful completion of WaV2T Server and Cloud Application Data Center Technician Pathway including CompTIA Tech+ or Linux+ certification.
• 3 to 5 years experience in IT infrastructure, military communications, electronics, or data center support roles.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting servers, networking devices, and IT equipment using industry best practices.
• Knowledge of data center operations, electrical systems, cooling, airflow management, and rack equipment commissioning.
• Strong skills in structured cabling (fiber and copper) and inventory management for mission-critical environments.
• Understanding of system administration concepts including Linux/Windows command line, core OS services, networking fundamentals, and IT hardware principles.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg and working in confined or elevated spaces.
