What you'll do

Lead technical discussions and implementations to drive new business and expand existing accounts within the Public Sector.
Conduct discovery of prospect use cases and technical requirements to identify best-fit solutions.
Deliver product demonstrations and lead collaborative proofs-of-concept (PoCs) for potential customers.
Provide strategic guidance and technical best practices to ensure long-term success for existing clients.
Create technical documentation and provide training to onboard new customers via video or in-person meetings.
Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand terms for diverse audiences ranging from engineers to executives.
Act as a technical advocate by collaborating with internal Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support teams.
Travel up to 45% of the time to attend meetings, conferences, and industry events in the Federal segment.

What we're looking for

Must have a demonstrated understanding of internet technologies including OSI Model layers 1-7, Routing TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP(S), and SSL/TLS.
Must be comfortable with SASE frameworks and related technologies such as Secure Web Gateway, CASB, DLP, and SD-WAN.
Must be proficient with on-premise infrastructure and networking configurations, including legacy systems.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or consulting role supporting the US Federal Government.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand terms for diverse audiences.
Experience serving the US Department of Defense or DISA market segment (preferred).
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred); Graduate degrees and cloud certifications are also welcomed (preferred).
Export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
