Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable components for distributed systems using distributed state management tools.
• Optimize code and systems for large-scale data retrieval, storage, and processing.
• Build fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, retries, and circuit breakers.
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for troubleshooting and cloud maintenance.
• Implement security controls such as encryption, access management, and remediation plans.
• Create dashboards, telemetry systems, and alarms to proactively monitor component health.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues while participating in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Execute performance and load tests, including fault-injection and brown-out scenarios.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to design, implement, and optimize components in distributed systems for scalability and resiliency.
• Must be able to develop automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Must be able to implement advanced security controls including encryption and access remediation.
• Must be able to perform load and performance testing on large-scale data processing systems.
• Must be able to diagnose, debug, and resolve issues in system components to support ongoing operations.
• Must be able to participate in operational support rotations, including incident response and root cause investigations.
