Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable components for distributed systems using distributed state management tools.
• Optimize code and systems for high-volume data retrieval, storage, and large-scale processing.
• Build fault-tolerant paths by implementing redundancy, replication, automatic failover, retries, and circuit breakers.
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for troubleshooting, maintenance, and cloud management.
• Create dashboards, telemetry systems, and alarm configurations to proactively monitor component health.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues while participating in incident response and root cause investigations.
• Apply advanced security controls including encryption and access management in multi-tenant environments.
• Execute performance and load tests, including fault-injection and brown-out scenarios, to ensure system correctness.

What we're looking for

• 3 to 5+ years of relevant engineering, architecture, or development/operational experience.
• Strong experience working on data plane architectures in networking devices.
• Strong experience with high-concurrency systems.
• Experience designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance network solutions using DPDK and C/C++.
• Working experience with Linux OSes/kernels, device drivers, performance testing tools, and distributed debugging tools.
• Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts and technologies.
• Significant work experience in startups or fast-paced enterprise technology development environments.
• Strong team player with outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
