What you'll do

Design and implement major features in C and C++ for the high-performance Virtual Networking Dataplane.
Build packet-processing capabilities for routing, NAT, network gateways, and security policy enforcement.
Optimize CPU utilization, memory usage, concurrency, latency, and throughput for large-scale production environments.
Develop comprehensive unit, integration, system, fault-injection, scale, and performance tests to ensure reliability.
Build fault-tolerant components capable of handling failures and updates without disrupting customers.
Improve service observability through metrics, alarms, dashboards, telemetry, and automated health checks.
Diagnose and resolve complex Linux and networking issues using logs, packet captures, and debugging tools.
Create runbooks, diagnostic tools, and automation to simplify the detection and resolution of operational issues.

What we're looking for

Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
Proficiency in C programming language is required.
Proficiency in C++ programming language is required.
Experience with distributed systems is required.
Knowledge of Linux systems is required.
Expertise in virtual networking is required.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
