Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed system components for high-volume data processing, scalability, and resiliency.
• Implement fault-tolerant mechanisms including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
• Develop automated tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Build monitoring systems featuring custom dashboards, telemetry, and alerting to proactively detect system failures.
• Conduct performance testing, load testing, and fault-injection scenarios to ensure system correctness.
• Participate in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and author operational runbooks.
• Apply advanced security controls including encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure compliance with industry standards and internal documentation requirements.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3+ years of experience in engineering, architecture, or development/operations.
• Must possess strong experience working on data plane architectures in networking devices.
• Must have strong experience with high-concurrency systems.
• Must have experience designing and optimizing high-performance network solutions using DPDK and C/C++.
• Must have experience with Linux OSes/kernels, device drivers, performance testing tools, and distributed debugging tools.
• Must possess expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts and technologies.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work well within geographically distributed teams.
• Must be comfortable in fast-paced environments and capable of learning new technologies quickly.
