As a Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer, you will join the FastConnect Control Plane team to develop cloud-native, geo-distributed web services that manage high-speed, low-latency networking configurations. You will work with distributed state management tools and focus on optimizing code for cloud environments. What you'll do

Develop and optimize components of distributed systems to support horizontal and vertical scaling.
Build fault-tolerant systems using redundancy, replication, and automatic failover mechanisms.
Implement performance monitoring through custom dashboards, telemetry systems, and automated alerting.
Design and execute test scenarios including fault-injection and brown-outs to ensure system correctness.
Diagnose and resolve production issues while developing automation scripts for troubleshooting.
Apply advanced security measures like encryption and access controls in multi-tenant environments.
Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to manage cloud infrastructure and deployment cycles.

What we're looking for

Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be highly proficient in operating within SaaS, Cloud, or Hybrid cloud environments.
Must be skilled in programming and capable of writing clean code consistently.
Must be able to optimize code for performance and scalability in distributed systems.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to design and implement complex distributed systems that interact with network infrastructure.
