Senior Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed system components for high scalability, resiliency, and large-scale data processing.
• Implement fault-tolerant features including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and retry mechanisms.
• Develop automated infrastructure (IaC) and tooling to streamline troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Build monitoring systems including custom dashboards, telemetry, and alert configurations to proactively detect failures.
• Perform load testing, fault injection, and brown-out scenarios to ensure system correctness and performance.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and the creation of operational runbooks.
• Apply advanced security controls such as encryption and access management in multi-tenant environments.
• Ensure all infrastructure complies with industry standards and maintains up-to-date technical documentation.

What we're looking for

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Experience designing and optimizing distributed systems for scalability, resiliency, and operability.
• Proficiency in implementing fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, and automatic failover.
• Ability to implement performance testing, load testing, and telemetry systems like dashboards and alerts.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing cloud infrastructure and automation.
• Ability to apply advanced security controls such as encryption and access management in multi-tenant environments.
• Ability to participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and the creation of operational runbooks.
