Senior Consultant - CRM Data Software joins the Professional Services team to support the Align product within the Veeva Vault CRM Suite. This role involves a blend of project management, analysis, and technical product work featuring advanced configurations for pharmaceutical and medical device organizations. You will lead business process due diligence, design, and documentation of end-user requirements while serving as a subject matter expert for senior executives. The position requires expertise in data management and process analysis using MS Excel, MS Access, or SQL. Preferred qualifications include experience with MDM products, Web Services, ETL, and CRM systems within the life sciences industry. You will be responsible for mentoring team members, developing best practices, and creating accelerators to solve complex technical challenges involving sales and marketing territory alignments and sales cycle planning.
Lead business process due diligence and design for customer application implementation projects.
Document end-user requirements for new and existing pharmaceutical and medical device systems.
Perform a mix of project management, technical analysis, and advanced product configurations.
Act as a subject matter expert when meeting with senior management and executive stakeholders.
Translate complex client and vendor concepts into clear information for diverse audiences.
Mentor team members and develop internal best practices and accelerators.
Develop deep expertise in the Life Sciences industry and Veeva’s specific software solutions.
What we're looking for
Must have 8+ years of experience in Technology Consulting with Commercial Life Sciences or Pharma Commercial Operations Sales Planning.
Must have hands-on experience with data management and process analysis using MS Excel, MS Access, or SQL.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for customer and internal needs.
Proven track record meeting with senior management and executives as a subject matter expert.
Ability to translate complex client and vendor concepts for audiences of varying perception levels.
Experience in CRM (preferred).
MDM product knowledge and experience (preferred).
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry, sales/marketing territory alignment, or technical disciplines like Web Services, ETL, and SQL (preferred).
