The Senior Cloud Security Architect serves as the senior technical expert for enterprise endpoint security capabilities within the Countermeasures organization. This role involves evaluating, designing, and advancing technologies to protect Windows and macOS workstations and servers. Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership for endpoint protection, detection and response, device security, and secure remote access. The architect will develop endpoint security policies, standards, and technical requirements while collaborating with Security Operations, Infrastructure, Identity, Cloud, and Engineering teams. Required skills include experience with EDR, XDR, MDM, MAM, and Zero Trust Network Access. The position requires strong AI fluency and expertise in threat modeling, control assessments, and security posture validation. This role solves the business problem of strengthening the organization’s endpoint security posture against modern threats.
Design and evaluate endpoint security solutions for Windows and macOS workstations and servers.
Provide technical leadership for EDR, XDR, endpoint hardening, and privileged access controls.
Develop and review endpoint security policies, standards, and technical requirements.
Support Zero Trust initiatives through device posture validation and secure remote access technologies.
Lead proof-of-concept efforts and technical evaluations to recommend new security technologies for adoption.
Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and control assessments for endpoint security technologies.
Identify security gaps and recommend mitigation strategies to strengthen the organization's security posture.
Integrate endpoint security telemetry with security monitoring, analytics, and incident response platforms.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
6+ years in cybersecurity, endpoint security, infrastructure security, or a related technical discipline.
2+ years in security architecture, security engineering, or technical design leadership.
Strong AI fluency to identify and drive AI-related opportunities for engineering, security, or developer experience teams.
Experience securing Windows workstations, Windows servers, and macOS environments.
Experience with endpoint protection capabilities, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and/or Extended Detection and Response (XDR).
Working knowledge of endpoint management, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Mobile Application Management (MAM) capabilities.
Experience supporting Zero Trust initiatives, including device trust, security posture validation, conditional access, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
