What you'll do

Own the end-to-end design and delivery of platform capabilities from requirement gathering to production.
Drive technical direction for multi-quarter initiatives by aligning engineering, security, and SRE partners.
Architect platform-as-a-product offerings to reduce friction for internal developers.
Lead the design and rollout of security-first patterns and policy-as-code controls.
Solve complex problems using a mix of open-source and in-house tooling.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and targeted coaching.
Scale existing technologies and introduce new ones to outpace growth projections.
Evangelize next-generation cloud and DevOps practices across the organization.

What we're looking for

8+ years of cloud infrastructure and platform engineering experience owning systems end-to-end in production.
Experience building platforms as a product for internal developers.
Expertise in Kubernetes and containers, including multi-tenant, multi-cluster, and multi-region footprints.
Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code using Crossplane and Terraform.
Experience with security-first architecture and Policy as Code using Kyverno or OPA/Gatekeeper.
Public cloud expertise across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
Experience with GitOps and CI/CD using Flux, Jenkins, and Kargo.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of work experience (preferred).
