Senior Civil Engineer The Senior Civil Engineer joins the Datacenter Engineering team to serve as a subject matter expert for data center programming, design development, construction administration, and master planning. What you'll do

Provide civil engineering technical direction and oversight for data center designs across the AMERS region.
Manage site selection, due diligence, master planning, and permitting processes for new infrastructure projects.
Oversee construction administration, renovations, and retrofits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Develop innovative technology and sustainable design concepts for next-generation data center infrastructure.
Coordinate with external A/E consultants and general contractors to ensure project alignment with scope and budget.
Evaluate technical design approaches and engineering solutions to develop viable business cases.
Provide technical guidance on site, utility, and infrastructure designs for mission-critical facilities.

What we're looking for

A Master's degree in Civil Engineering and 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Civil Engineering (preferred).
Advanced degrees and additional years of technical engineering experience are preferred based on the specific degree held.
Proficiency in civil engineering, site, utility, and infrastructure design for mission-critical data center campus projects.
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar tools (preferred).
Experience supporting site selection, due diligence, permitting, land acquisition, master planning, or site development (preferred).
Experience leading engineering workstreams and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for large-scale infrastructure projects (preferred).
Ability to pass the required Microsoft Cloud background check.
