As a Senior Circuit Methodology Engineer at Nvidia, you will collaborate closely with the circuit design engineering team to manage and enhance large-scale compute and GPU infrastructure across various geographies. Your daily tasks will involve designing and maintaining verification flows, monitoring farm health, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to optimize throughput and utilization. You will also be responsible for setting up new infrastructure, evaluating new resources, building automation tools, and providing user support by debugging issues and developing documentation. This role requires a BSEE or equivalent experience, proficiency in Python and Perl, and at least 8 years of circuit design methodology work with Cadence/Synopsys systems. Experience with job schedulers like LSF and Slurm is essential, as well as the ability to debug complex multi-layer issues and communicate effectively across diverse teams.
Design, develop, and maintain circuit design and verification flows on large-scale compute and GPU farms.
Proactively monitor farm health, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve throughput and utilization.
Evaluate and qualify new compute and GPU resources, schedulers, and EDA infrastructure components.
Build automation and tooling to streamline flow setup, job submission, resource allocation, logging, and reporting.
Track important measurements and lead ongoing improvement projects for farm efficiency and cost effectiveness.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience in circuit design methodology using Cadence/Synopsys systems.
Proficiency in Python and Perl for scripting and automation tasks.
Experience managing job schedulers like LSF and Slurm on compute farms.
Ability to debug complex issues across flows, scripts, tools, and infrastructure.
Strong communication skills for partnering with diverse engineering teams.
Previous design experience and exposure to circuit design workloads preferred.
