As a Senior Circuit Design Engineer, you will join a global circuits team to develop cutting-edge processor designs using deep submicron technologies. Your daily work involves performing detailed transistor-level analysis to improve performance, reliability, and security, while driving the physical implementation of circuit IPs for current and voltage sensing and security attack detection. You will create prototypes of patentable ideas on test chips and serve as a technical mentor for junior members. Required expertise includes Spice simulations, EM/IR analysis, static timing analysis, and experience with op-amps, comparators, and ADCs. Additional skills include RTL, logic synthesis, verification, Place and Route, Design-for-test, and scripting in Perl, Tcl, or Make.

What you'll do

Develop and participate in cutting-edge processor designs using deep submicron technologies.
Design innovative digital, semi-custom, and mixed-signal analog circuits for silicon correlation and hardware security.
Perform detailed transistor-level analysis to improve the performance, reliability, and security of next-generation products.
Drive the design and physical implementation of circuit IPs for current/voltage sensing and security attack protection.
Create prototypes of patentable ideas on test chips for deployment across product lines.
Serve as a mentor and technical lead for junior team members.

What we're looking for

BSEE degree or equivalent experience is required.
An MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred.
Candidates must have at least 8 years of circuit design experience.
Must have a good understanding of deep submicron process issues and digital circuit design techniques.
Experience with analog and mixed-signal block designs like op-amps, comparators, and ADCs is required.
Hands-on experience in Spice simulations, EM/IR analysis, and static timing analysis/closure is required.
Experience with spice simulation for noise, loop stability, and AC/DC/transient analysis is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Tcl, or Make is preferred.
