What you'll do

Serve as the subject matter expert for all aviation certification requirements for Leo products.
Define product requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with aviation regulations.
Influence new product design and architecture based on current system capabilities and limitations.
Manage the certification program timeline to meet delivery dates for major airline customers.
Resolve complex certification issues by collaborating with internal engineering groups and OEM partners.
Develop functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
Identify and implement solutions to improve existing processes and systems.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience managing complex technology projects working directly with engineering teams.
7+ years in an aviation regulatory and/or compliance role (DO160, FAR P21/P145, OEM Boeing/Airbus).
5+ years of experience leading high performing, technologically savvy teams.
Experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
Experience leading and defining requirements across diverse organizations.
Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent (preferred); in Aviation Electronics Program Management (preferred).
