Senior Big Data Operations Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs for the technology domain.
• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
• Resolve complex technical issues and lead teams to meet client needs while ensuring compliance.
• Support application tenant teams with setting up compute queues, storage, and data processing jobs.
• Provide end-to-end support for processes and services within the big data environment.
• Support migration activities from current infrastructure to new data centers within specified timelines.
• Act as an escalation point and provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
• Review technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
• 4 years of experience in software engineering or a related position.
• 4 years of hands-on experience in Hadoop.
• 4 years of experience with MongoDB.
• 3 years of experience with Python, Unix/Shell scripting, or Spark.
• 3 years of experience with Autosys.
• 2 years of experience with Dremio.
• 2 years of experience in setting up monitoring dashboards through Grafana or Prometheus.
• 1 year of experience with Kubernetes.
• 1 year of experience with Azure or GCP.
