Senior Associate Systems Administrator

What you'll do

• Provide end-user desktop support for systems and applications locally and across the classified WAN.
• Perform routine system updates, patching, and hardening to reduce vulnerabilities and maintain compliance.
• Partner with program engineering teams to deliver IT solutions aligned with specific project requirements.
• Communicate technical issues, risks, and recommendations effectively to management and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage and support Windows and Linux operating systems including RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
• Administer VMware or comparable virtualization platforms to ensure system availability.
• Execute data protection tasks using Commvault or similar backup and recovery solutions.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience, a Graduate degree with 0 to 2 years of experience, or no degree with 6 years of experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking protocols, PowerShell, and security best practices.
• Current active TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph.
• Hands-on experience supporting Linux systems including RHEL 8/9, CentOS, and Ubuntu (preferred).
• Experience administering VMware or comparable virtualization platforms (preferred).
• Experience working with Commvault or similar backup and recovery solutions (preferred).
