Senior Associate Cyber Infrastructure Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator

What you'll do

• Administer and maintain Windows-based servers and workstations within a cleared DoD enterprise environment.
• Deploy operating system patches, security updates, and hotfixes according to approved maintenance schedules.
• Implement system hardening measures using DoD security standards, STIGs, and organizational cybersecurity policies.
• Perform vulnerability identification and remediation to support RMF controls and audit readiness.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health to ensure mission system reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and access-related issues.
• Maintain accurate system configurations, change records, and technical documentation for compliance inspections.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity and network teams to support accreditation activities and incident response.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of related experience, a Graduate Degree and 0 to 2 years, or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification.
• CCNA-Security, Security+ CE, or higher professional certification.
• Experience administering and maintaining Windows-based servers and workstations in a DoD cleared environment.
• Experience as a DoD COMSEC Manager or supporting COMSEC account management (preferred).
• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in a DoD or regulated environment (preferred).
• Experience with virtualization technologies like KVM, VMware, vSphere/vCenter, or containers like OpenShift and Docker (preferred).
• Secret Clearance.
