Senior Associate Systems Administrator

What you'll do

• Provide end-user desktop support for systems and applications locally and across the classified WAN.
• Perform routine system updates, patching, and hardening to maintain security compliance.
• Partner with program engineering teams to deliver IT solutions aligned with specific program needs.
• Communicate technical issues, risks, and recommendations to management and non-technical stakeholders.
• Administer and support classified Windows desktop systems and essential applications.
• Manage network protocols and security best practices to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Must have a Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of related experience.
• Must have at least 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must have a current active TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, networking protocols, PowerShell, and security best practices.
• Experience supporting Linux systems including RHEL 8/9, CentOS, and Ubuntu (preferred).
• Experience administering VMware or comparable virtualization platforms (preferred).
• Experience working with Commvault or similar backup and recovery solutions (preferred).
