What you'll do

  • Administer and maintain Red Hat Linux servers and workstations.
  • Ensure compliance with computer security policies, including NIST 800-53 and DISA STIGs.
  • Perform system patching, STIG hardening, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Respond to support tickets and provide end-user support at the desktop level.
  • Develop and monitor policies, standards, and documentation for computing resources.
  • Evaluate vendor products and provide hardware and software recommendations to leadership.
  • Provide managerial support for on-site system administrators, including performance evaluations and budget management.
  • Lead local IT projects and communicate technical solutions to management and engineering teams.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
  • Must have 8 years of experience in Red Hat Linux administration.
  • Must have 8 years of experience in networking, including TCP/IP, network interfaces, and subnets.
  • Must have 8 years of experience in shell scripting and troubleshooting.
  • Must have 8 years of experience in cybersecurity practices, including patch management, STIG compliance, and system accreditation.
  • Must possess a current/active Secret Security Clearance.
  • CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or any DoD 8140 approved certification (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
