JOB TITLE: Senior Specialist, System Administrator (TS/SCI) The Senior Specialist, System Administrator (TS/SCI) joins the team to support system sustainment for the MOSSAIC C2 SDA mission and its Space Mission Platform. This role involves maintaining enterprise infrastructure across hybrid and private cloud environments, specifically supporting the Space Domain Awareness mission. The professional will administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows systems, manage VMware Cloud Foundation version 9 and above, and maintain Kubernetes-based container platforms. Key responsibilities include automating operations with Ansible, performing system configuration, patching, and performance tuning. The candidate must utilize scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell while operating within a Scaled Agile Framework. Technical requirements include experience with endpoint management, detection and response tools, and vulnerability management using ACAS, Nessus, and OpenVAS.

What you'll do

  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows operating systems in a production environment.
  • Support virtualized infrastructure using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) version 9 and above.
  • Use Ansible to automate system administration, configuration management, and application deployments.
  • Manage Kubernetes-based container platforms, including cluster operations and workload deployments.
  • Develop scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for system automation and data analysis.
  • Execute tasks within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
  • Perform system configuration, patching, and performance tuning to ensure operational excellence.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience, Graduate Degree with 4 years, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Top Secret SCI clearance.
  • CI Poly (preferred).
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 Professional Certification such as Security+ CE or higher.
  • Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows systems in a production enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience supporting VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) version 9 and above.
  • Experience using Ansible for automation and working knowledge of Kubernetes architecture.
  • Security clearance.
