What you'll do

Develop software using C++ and object-oriented design principles in an embedded Linux environment.
Support the design, development, integration, test, and maintenance of Space Vehicle flight software.
Apply software engineering principles to plan, estimate, and decompose assigned work.
Ensure software integrates properly with the larger system baseline, including interfaces and network communications.
Develop test plans and test procedures for peer review.
Execute test procedures in coordination with Software Quality or other approved test oversight processes.
Use existing DevOps tools, repositories, development processes, and collaboration workflows in daily activities.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with experience, a Graduate Degree with , or experience without a degree.
Must have at least 2 years of software development experience using C/C++.
Must have experience with object-oriented design and implementation.
Must have experience with or familiarity with embedded Linux development.
Must have experience with modern software development tools, including compilers, debuggers, and version control systems like Git.
Must have experience with network communications and software interface development.
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies (preferred).
Security clearance.
