Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, NPI Bring-up SDET

What you'll do

• Develop CUDA Compute test plans for PCIe high-performance computing GPUs and NVIDIA systems.
• Build test applications and automation frameworks using Python, C, C++, CUDA, and Bash.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins for release configurations.
• Convert NPI failures and customer defects into reliable automated regression coverage.
• Drive defect resolution by providing clear reproduction steps, root cause analysis, and fix verification.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to analyze test runs and validate conclusions against source logs.
• Translate feature requirements into measurable test coverage and identify release risks.

What we're looking for

• A BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software quality, test automation, or software development and validation.
• Experience solving Linux and Windows system issues and debugging across hardware, firmware, operating system, driver, and application layers.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages including Python, C, C++, CUDA, and Bash.
• Knowledge of QA methodology, risk-based test planning, functional validation, regression strategy, CI/CD, and defect triage.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU hardware, CUDA, PCIe-based GPUs, or CUDA C/C++ parallel programming (preferred).
• Experience developing scalable validation infrastructure for labs, cloud environments, containers, or virtualization (preferred).
• Practical use of AI assisted analytics for test planning, automation, failure analysis, or defect detection (preferred).
